With students out in the streets, does that make them safer or not? It seems as though something is out brewing on the horizon. Something that no one is quite ready for.

Welcome to Hogwarts: A Time of Change!
Hogwarts is currently closed for Summer Break.
With the summer heat students are escaping outdoors
and getting together with friends. Enjoying
spending time without the pressure of school riding over their heads.
This is the first activity check and you have until February 1st to reply, almost two weeks from this date. You can find it here.
School Shopping
All students should get their school shopping done before Hogwarts reopens on February 1st. (If you are not replied to in a timely manner then you only need to have the threads up and you before Hogwarts is open, but be sure to finish it before lesson 1 has been completed) The following will be needed before you can attend Hogwarts:
- Class Sign Ups- Ollivander's Wand Shop (if you are still in need of a wand)- Slug and Jigger's Apothecary (if Potions is chosen)- Flourish and Blott's- Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions- Quality Quidditch Supplies (if Quidditch is in your future)
Don't worry about posting in a shop that doesn't have a shopkeeper. A NPC Shopkeeper account has been created that will be handled by ToC staff so everything will be taken care of in a timely manner.
Hogwarts Express
A one-shot should be posted by each student of getting onto the Hogwarts Express and/or their experience on the train. If you would prefer to make it more interactive you will need to make sure it is complete before you post in lesson 1. As you may be busy you may post it starting now.

All professors are expected to be ready to begin lessons between February 1st-9th. If you are unable to begin your lesson please send me an OWL and be sure to post in the away thread.
Now remember that classes can be handled in three ways, you can find those ways here. If you need a more specific and detailed example please feel free to message me.

The activity check is now closed. Those of you who have not posted there will have to make sure you that you post in the next. If you miss three activity checks your character will be archived/deleted.
Hogwarts is OPEN!
You may now post in Hogwarts, please make sure you've completed/created the following threads.

As long as you create the threads and make sure they're complete before Lesson 1 is completed you are fine. The NPC Shopkeeper or the store shopkeeper will continue to post with you during the school year.
Before we begin...
The Headmistress has opened the start of the year feast here, so please head to the Great Hall to tuck in with a one-shot of your own (in your house table forum). An don't forget to sign your class syllabus before posting your class post responses!

Animagus/Patronus Lottery
Those of you that have won the lottery will be receiving an OWL shortly about your animagus/patronus!
The activity check for March can be found here. Be sure to post there before March 31st. An new members, please remember that you only have two weeks to post and finish your profile once you've joined.
Lesson 1
Students, Lesson 1 will close on March 31st, so be sure to get all your school posting in.
Transfiguration
For those of you who are taking Transfiguration class.. The Professor has had trouble with internet, but now that there is only a month left til lesson 1 closes we will have a substitute post up a lesson. You should find it up and ready to reply to by Monday, March 3rd PST. I apologize for the wait.

Time of Change kicked off to a great start this year but with all administrators and moderators busy with 2014, everything slows down to a standstill. Some parts of the site are under construction with the site being updated. For previous posts such as plot pages and threads, have been moved into the archives.

Game Date
Since things got busy on this site, we have decided that winter break is taking place. Therefore Hogwarts is closed. If you are staying at Hogwarts over winter break, please let us know by OWL. Changes to the calender may be made but we will let you know.
For the time being, make sure you post in the activity check and once you are ready, start making new plot pages and discussing with other members.
